Bamboo Side Plates

These beautifully designed bamboo plates are 8 inches in diameter, and made from industrial manufacturers’ discarded bamboo. The perfect little plate for any side dish, or perhaps a sweet treat!

Excess scraps are gathered from bamboo chopstick manufacturers and ground into powder.  The bamboo powder is mixed with corn starch and a food grade melamine binder, then molded into tableware. All plates are free of PVC, BPA and all phthalates. Available in multiple different designs, all plates sold individually.

Dishwasher safe? Yes, up to 70 celsius. It's recommend using the top rack and no prolonged soaking.

Can it go in the microwave? No. Bamboo tableware should not be heated in a microwave.

Will it scratch? Normal forks and knives will not scratch the surface. The use of steak knives is not recommended.

What happens if I drop it on the ground? This product will not shatter like glass or ceramic and will not usually break when dropped but it may crack or chip if it hits a hard surface like tile or concrete.
